candida yeast infection sexually transmitted. true/false?
Bysmoke_133 questioned:
Apparently my girlfriend has started to have symptoms of candida yeasts. She told me I might have transmitted to her, and i am trying to find out if I really did transmit it to her or it was a result of her low immune system. Is there a way to find out this? how long does it take for the symptoms to show up? days or weeks?
thanks for the answers, but is there a way to know if she got it from me or she just developed it on her own??

you would have had to catch it off sum one else first- its not really a male sickness, so does that mean you cheated??? if u got it from sum one else make sure you tell them or hundreds of ppl will become infected!!
she may not have gotten it from anyone sometimes you just get it, but yes you can get it if you have *** when she is having it to, but it no huge deal tell her to go get the one day treatment and be done with it
Leah doesn’t know what she is talking about!
Candida is not a sexually transmitted infection as there are many ways that it can start to grow.
But, once established it can be passed between sexual partners.
It is NOT a sign of infidelity – I got a Candida infection when I was still a virgin.
the answer to this is yes and no..
it can be caught from eachother.. or it can just be ‘one of those things’ that girls get every now and again..
if you have it.. she can catch it of you and vice versa.. you can also catch it off her.
go to a doctors and get treatment for both of you. or buy canasten duo from the chemists.. it costs about £15 but a doctor can also prescribe it cheaper. she takes the tablet and uses the tube of cream.. you also use the cream…
unpleasant to talk about but best if you both get treated for it.
